Ověření účinnosti a využití lisu pro lisování olejnatých semen
Jackson, Zdena
ABSTRACT The diploma thesis called "Verification of efficiency and utilization of oilseed presses" is focused on the issue of oil pressing with emphasis on process efficiency and oil yield. A measurement was carried out at the Institute of Horticultural Engineering, the purpose of which was to verify the screw press of a small capacity UNO FM 3 F of Farmet, Czech Republic in the pressing of grape seed oil. The experimental measurements were carried out in 2018-2019 for seed samples provided by Agropol Mikulov, which were separated from the marc. The results of the work are divided into two main parts – Cold oil pressing and Soxhlet oil extraction and Economic aspects of wine production lines designed for seed processing and oil production. The seeds were compressed at 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 rpm. The results confirmed that with increasing speed the pressing time was reduced. At higher speeds during compression, the amount of sediment increased. While pressing from 20 to 80 rpm, the oil yield decreased from 9.87 % to 9.67 % while the pressing capacity increased from 0.86 liter/hour to 2.17 liter/hour. It was no longer possible to press at speed 100 rpm, the machine was too overloaded. The Soxhlet extraction apparatus with hexane as solvent was used to determine the total oil content. Seed oiliness was 12.85 %. The market value of cold pressed oil from grapevine seeds, used in gastronomy or as a massage product, is 990-1100 CZK / liter. With an average crude oil yield of 8 %, from 1 ton of seeds, 80 liters of oil can be pressed, which represents the currently expected yield of 80-88 thousand. CZK. The results of the economic evaluation show that with all the costs involved in the oil production, including the investment costs for the production line, the return on investment is 3,23 years. From the results of the economic evaluation of the experiment at 9,8 %, from 1 ton of seeds the expected yield of 98 l of oil is 97 020 - 107 800 thous. CZK. The return on investment period was 1,92 years.
Ověření účinnosti šnekového lisu při lisování oleje ze semen révy vinné
Gottwaldová, Nicole
This diploma thesis was processed in the years 2018-2019 at the Institute of Horticultural Engineering of the Faculty of Horticulture of the Mendel University in Brno. The aim of this study was to verify and determine the yield of grapevine seed oil during pressing on a screw press with an emphasis on its working setting, especially on the revolutions per minute during pressing. Various possibilities of using marc and the seeds themselves were analyzed. However, we have focused on different ways of separation, seed drying technology and especially pressing methods. In the practical part were compared the results of the thousand grain weight, density of seeds, press performance and values of oil yield, as well as the content and density of oil in six selected varieties of Vitis vinifera L. Furthermore, a chapter dealing with the cost of operation was elaborated.
Analýza využití matoliny pro separaci semen a energetické účely
Ludín, David
Empirical measurements took place in years 2013 until 2015 at grape marc samples from viniculture subjects in the wine-growing area Morava. The results of this paper are divided into two main parts grapevine seed separation from grape marc and grape marc usage for energy purposes. Efficiency evaluation of the separation process was implemented primarily empirically in laboratory conditions by means of a net with defined-sized loops. Subsequently, the efficiency was confirmed on a prototype of a vibrating sifting device. From obtained results follows, in dependence on the cultivar the separation efficiency varies between 58,35 until 94,12 %, while seed yield is 6,00 until 49,71 %. An interesting area of grape seed usage is bioenergetics. Therefore there was implemented a wide range of calorimetrical measurements of combustion heat and caloric power of grape marc in its original state, grape marc after seed separation (assumption of oil pressing usage), and seeds in themselves. The results indicate the heating power varies between 18,61 until 21,14 MJ/kg. The highest heating power values were stated by seeds and grape marc in its original state. It could be presumed, the main reason is rather high oil component in grapevine seeds. Moreover, the measurement set was supplemented by results focused on grape marc usage for pellet production. As the input materials different proportions of dried grape marc combined with wine shoots and hay were used. From the measured values follows, that the highest heating power (19,22 MJ/kg) was obtained from pellets composited from 60 % grape marc, 20 % wine shoots, and 20 % hay. Their apparent density is 630,9 kg.m-3. The produced pellets correspond with the norm CSN EN 15210 2 from the point of view of mechanical ruggedness. The results of this paper were as well extended by a set of model calculation of operating expenses when producing pellets in defined conditions, which vary between CZK 3,59 until 3,92 per 1 kilogram.
Studium zdraví prospěšných látek v semenech Vitis vinifera L.
Gottwaldová, Nicole
This bachelor thesis was processed in the years 2016/2017 at the Institute of Viticulture and Viticulture of the Faculty of Horticulture of the Mendel University in Brno. The aim of this study was to research the available studies of health beneficial substances in grapevine seeds. We focused on the content of antioxidant components. The thesis described berries and their distribution on peel, pulp and seeds. We also analyzed individual groups of health benefits and specific cases of their health benefits. In the practical part we compares the results of total polyphenol compounds, flavanols, reducing power and antiradical aktivity of six varietes of Vitis vinifera L. In addition, a chapter was prepared with other possible use of grape vine seeds, such as oil, flour or cosmetics.
Perspektivy využití matolin révy vinné ve zpracovatelských technologiích
Koptová, Zuzana
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the perspectives of grape marc use and processing. There are numerous possibilities of grape marc utilization. For example the production of grappa (pomace brandy), animal feed, compost, oils, etc. Practical part is focused on experimental determination of selected physical parameters (moisture, bulk density, proportion of stem in grapes, share of seeds and share of husks) for selected pomace samples. Those parameters were investigated in varieties Muller Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Blaufrankisch, Cabernet Moravia and Dornfelder in both years, 2014 and 2015, characterized by very diverse weather conditions. The values expressed in the tables and results shown in graphs are further compared with literary sources. From the results the following values can be mentioned. Average marc humidity from all varieties was 65 % in 2014 and 66 % in 2015. Humidity in red varieties was slightly lower than in white varieties. The highest value of marc bulk density exhibited in both years variety Dornfelder (693 kg.m-3 in 2014, 724 kg.m-3 in 2015). Share of stem in selected cultivars in 2014 varied from 3.9 % (Chardonnay) to 6.2 % (Cabernet Moravia). The average value of marc seed share was 27 % in 2014 and 28.5 % in 2015. The average marc share of husk was 73 % in 2014 and 71,6 % in 2015.
Hodnocení účinnosti separačního zařízení při separaci semen z matolin
Müller, Petr
This thesis was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the separation device for the separation of seeds from marc. The first chapter describes the characteristics of marc and how is obtained. In the second chapter, the work was focused on the possibility of using the marc in waste management and food industries. The next chapter deals with separation technology and its technical support, which describes the different technologies and processes for the separation. The work also highlights the technological capabilities of drying seeds vine after separation. The experimental part of the work is focused on the evaluation of the separation of selected varieties. This assessment is complemented by tables and graphs of the results of the experiment. In the last chapter of the thesis focuses on determining the cost of separation of seeds and draft technological lines for medium and large wine-growing operations. Technological operations are accompanied by model proposals mobile and fixed lines.
